Dear Potential New Members,
The Alpha Omicron Chapter of Kappa Delta is so excited that you have chosen Queens University of Charlotte as a new chapter of your life. Each of our sisters cannot wait to meet each and every one of you through Panhellenic events and Formal Recruitment. Most importantly, we are very excited that you have chosen to look at the Greek Life here. I promise it is a choice you will never regret.
Our Formal Recruitment takes place over the course of two days. Each day you will learn more and more about each of the four sororities on campus, Alpha Delta Pi, Chi Omega, Kappa Delta, and Phi Mu. In Kappa Delta, the first round will focus on the purpose of Kappa Delta and our chapter's sisterhood. The second round emphasizes our philanthropies, in which you will learn how each organization we support helps sisters nationally give back to the community. The third round is a sincere ceremony that will show you more aspects of the meaning of being a sister in Kappa Delta.
We always look forward to meeting each and every one of you and being able to be a part of a new journey in your life, no matter which chapter you call home. One of th emost important days to your Greek Life chapter is Bid Day, the final day of recruitment. On that day you will meet your pledge sisters who you will automatically share a common bond with and be greeted by multiple hugs from your new sisters. The first year will be full of bonding with sisters, learning about your chapter, and enjoying being Greek.
For more information about Fall Formal Recruitment, please contact the Head of Greek Life or our Panhellenic Recruitment Counselors (you may find them on Facebook with "Pi Chi" next to their name).
